FACING RACE TOGETHER CONFERENCE
As we continue to see our world ever more split with violent rhetoric, conflict, and trauma, it is frustrating for many that we feel we can do nothing or very little to change the course of events. However, in Bermuda there is something we can do to bring our community to greater understanding of ourselves and what is needed for positive change and a healthy, united society.
We hope elders and members of the congregation might be able to join this important conference for a day of growth, awareness and more importantly strengthening our community and relationships. However, unable to attend, perhaps individuals might consider a donation to help underwrite the cost of the $250 per person conference fee to provide bursaries so others might be able to attend who cannot afford the conference fee. Please make donations to CURB’s BNTB A/C 20006060952140100 noting under Beneficiary Reference “Conf donation”.
For anyone interested in attending, registration is through their website www.uprootingracism.info
