APPEAL FROM SALVATION ARMY

The Salvation army is asking people for donations of food supplies to support needy families.  If you recall before Covid we used to ask our congregation to bring food items for donation to the salvation army.  From memory I think we asked this to be done monthly on the first Sunday of each month. Our feeding ministry then started which was fully supported by the congregation and the food donations stopped. We would like to support the Salvation Army in supplying food items to needy families again. This can take the form of tinned and dry goods (pasta; sauces in tins and jars etc). We encourage people to donate on the first Sunday of each month as we did before. We will arrange to deliver this to the Salvation Army Citadel on North Street where they distribute food.

You can bring your donations to the church next Sunday, December 1st and leave near the font at the front of the church.

Thank you again for your support.

David Thompson
