SUNDAY WORSHIP
Sunday worship will continue to be held at 10 am but returning to the pre-Covid order of service. The Order of Service can be viewed in advance on the website on the home page www.christchurch.bm

If you know of someone that may have difficulty getting to church, please reach out to them and offer a ride. This past year of isolation has been very difficult and we can all make a difference by assisting those who need help to get to church.

MORNING WORSHIP AND BREAKFAST
This Sunday, October 30 is the first of our 8:30 am services, a short act of worship, followed by breakfast. Breakfast is also open to those coming at 10:00 am.

COFFEE MORNINGS ARE BACK
Coffee and cake returns! We will be continuing this every Tuesday morning from 9:30am until 11:30am. Coffee service will be held under the awnings outside of the kitchen or in the West Hall if the weather is bad. Everyone is welcome for food and fellowship!

CCY
This week CCY will have an All Age Craft session, with a Halloween theme!🎃

BIBLE DISCUSSIONS/MEETINGS
These will restart on Tuesday, 8 November. More details to follow.

CHRISTMAS FAIR
Please save Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 2 pm for the CHRISTMAS FAIR. We will go back to the full fair this year after having to scale back the past couple of years due to Covid.

Help needed for the Christmas Fair:
1. Santa🎅 for the Fair, please apply to Martha Kirkland c/o North Pole  
2. Co-convenor for the popular TOY stall
3. Stall Convenors are looking for volunteers, so contact the following if you can assist or you have questions about donations:

Please note that drop off of donations will not take place until the Sunday November 27. We are not accepting books (except children’s books) or furniture of any kind.

SILENT AUCTION
We will be holding a silent auction as part of the Church Fair fundraising initiative. If you have something that you would like to donate such as boat trips, vacation homes, etc. or if you have a service you can donate to the silent auction, please contact Sandra at the office  

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE
On November 13 we will be holding a remembrance service and will remember those who we lost during Covid who were not able to have the service they would wish due to the restrictions in place. If you have a family member that you lost during this time and would like remembered, please email the church so we may honour them at the service

BOM FUNDRAISER FOR SCHOOL PROJECTS
This is your last chance to get tickets for tomorrow night’s Diwali (Festival of lights) event at Thorburn Hall. Traditional Indian food will be served plus entertainment. Tickets are $45 per person or $25 for under 15 years of age. Tickets are available for purchase on PTIX https://www.ptix.bm/Event/7357/Diwali-Festival-of-Lights 

BERMUDA FESTIVAL FALL DATES
The 48th Annual Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts is around the corner. They have made some very exciting changes to the Festival this year, and one of them is that they are offering shows from November to May. One of this fall’s shows is being held in three of our beautiful and acoustically exciting Island churches in Hamilton, St. Georges and Somerset! The Westerlies perform at the beginning of December and will complete their concert with selections from their Christmas album. Please see flyer below for more details.

WELCOME GUILD VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Welcome Guild is responsible for providing baked goods and serving them along with tea and coffee after every Sunday service. We are looking for a few more volunteers to come and help us. If you are able to volunteer for this, please email Sandra or Sue Garland

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR UPCOMING EVENTS
The Care Ministry is looking for volunteers to help set up and break down of the hall for our upcoming events, including Fabulous Friday on November 25th and the Thanksgiving and Christmas lunch on December 11th. If you are willing and able to help, please contact the office at   or call Sandra at 236-1882.

LIFE AND WORK MAGAZINE AVAILABLE
The November edition of the Life and Work magazine are available for collection in the vestry.
