On Saturday 7th June, the Very Reverend Dr. Martin Fair and his wife Elaine will be in attendance in the Thorburn Hall between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., at which time there will be an opportunity for the congregation to meet them informally.

On Sunday 8th June, Pentecost Sunday, at 10 a.m., Martin will preach and celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The service will be followed immediately by a congregational meeting, at which members and adherents who are present will be asked to vote on whether they support Martin’s Call to Christ Church. Thereafter, there will be a Fellowship Lunch in the Thorburn Hall with Martin and Elaine.

Please note this in your diaries and make every effort to be with us to support Martin, Elaine and Christ Church on this important occasion. If possible, please arrive early next Sunday for the issue of ballot papers in relation to the congregational meeting. The Kirk Session will meet immediately after the congregational meeting for the counting of votes.
