5 SEPTEMBER 2025
CCY (CHRIST CHURCH YOUTH)
CCY resumes this Sunday, 7th September. Messy Church will resume later this month; please see the information below.
INFORMAL COMMUNION
Following the church service this Sunday, 7th September, there will be an informal celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion, for members of the congregation and visitors who are members of any Christian denomination who would like to participate. This month’s informal Communion has been brought forward one week due to next week’s AGM. (Please see below!)
AGM
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Christ Church Warwick will be held on Sunday 14th September, immediately after the 10am service. The meeting will be held in the Thorburn Hall, and at the close of the meeting, lunch will be served. Everyone interested in the work of the church is invited to attend. The 2025 AGM package was attached as a PDF to the Weekly Bulletin of last Friday; if you did not receive it and would like to, please contact the church office.
MESSY CHURCH
Messy Church resumes this month; the next Messy Church will be held on Saturday 20th September, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. This month’s theme is Look Up, Reach Out! Please see the flyer below. All ages are welcome (including parents and grandparents!) The evening includes crafts, song, and a meal. If you would like more information about Messy Church, or to RSVP, please contact Martha Kirkland at . Should you want to make a note of upcoming Messy Church dates, the next two will be Saturday 18th October and Saturday 15th November 2025.
INDUCTION OF THE VERY REVEREND DR. MARTIN FAIR
Preparations are underway for the induction of our new Minister, the Very Reverend Dr. Martin Fair, on Wednesday 15th October 2025 at 7:00pm. Please put this date in your diaries, and do your best to let others know about this exciting and important service. Members of the International Presbytery will be with us to conduct the service.
STEWARDSHIP PROMOTION
As will be discussed at the AGM, the Kirk Session is keen that the congregation address the financial deficit in the church accounts. As such, there will be a short and focused Stewardship Promotion, with worship on Sundays 21st and 28th September focusing on the nature of Christian Stewardship. This will be an opportunity to eliminate the deficit before the induction of our new Minister.

Led by the Irene Bom, the Presbytery Worship and Prayer Promoter. These sessions will explore Biblical foundations, share real-life stories, and provide simple ways to begin or deepen your intercessory practice within your congregation.
