ARRIVAL OF MARTIN AND ELAINE FAIR
Martin and Elaine Fair have arrived in Bermuda(!), ahead of Martin’s Induction next week. We look forward to welcoming the Fairs back to Christ Church, after 34 years!

PREPARATION OF THE CHURCH FOR THE UPCOMING INDUCTION
A few more volunteers are being sought tomorrow, Saturday 11th October, from 9am to 12pm, to help clean and prepare the church for the upcoming Induction. If you’re able to help (for all or part of that time), please contact the church office (either by phone at 236-1882 or e-mail at .)

QUARTERLY COMMUNION – THIS SUNDAY
A formal, quarterly Communion will be celebrated during church this Sunday, 12th October (in place of the monthly informal Communion which had been scheduled.) Rev Dr. John Chalmers will conduct the Communion on his last Sunday as Interim Moderator and Locum Minster of Christ Church.

INDUCTION OF THE VERY REVEREND DR. MARTIN FAIR
Please be reminded that the Induction of our new Minister, the Very Reverend Dr. Martin Fair, will be held on Wednesday 15th October 2025 at 7:00pm, in the church. Members of the International Presbytery will be with us to conduct the service. Following the service, there will be a reception in the Thorburn Hall.

CONGREGATIONAL LUNCHEON TO WELCOME MARTIN AND ELAINE FAIR
There will be a congregational luncheon after church on Sunday 19th October, in the Thorburn Hall, to welcome Martin and Elaine back to Christ Church. To help with planning, RSVPs would be appreciated; please e-mail the church office at .

MESSY CHURCH
Please note that the date of October’s Messy Church is now Saturday 25th October. This month’s theme is: Hello! I am… As always, the time will be 5:00pm – 6:30pm, and the location the Thorburn Hall. All ages are welcome!

CCY (CHRIST CHURCH YOUTH)
All children ages 3 years and up are welcome to attend CCY, held every Sunday in the Thorburn Hall during the 10am church service.

2025 CHURCH FAIR!
The date of this year’s church fair is Saturday 29th November. Please mark your calendars!

REQUEST FOR NEW CHOIR MEMBERS
Matt Nester, who is currently directing the Choir, is recruiting new Choir members. Anyone who would like to join is asked to speak to Matt at church, or to contact him by phone at 901-2813 or by e-mail at . Rehearsals are at 9am on Sundays.

INVITATION FROM THE INTERNATIONAL PRESBYTERY
Please see, attached to this e-mail, an invitation from the International Presbytery to an online (Zoom) session about migration and the work of Mediterranean Hope, an organisation dedicated to ensuring the safety, dignity, and compassionate treatment of all people. SEARCHES FOR RENTED ACCOMMODATION IN BERMUDA
A member of the congregation, Matt Nester, is seeking rented accommodation as of the start of November. Matt is currently looking for a studio or one-bedroom apartment in any parish, or alternatively, a medium-or-long-term house-sit. If you can assist, please contact Matt at 901-2813 or .
