Go Now in Peace
Go now in peace, never be afraid,
God will go with you each hour of every day.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know he will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love and show you believe.
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there, watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith and in love.
(See back cover of hymnal for music.)
Notices
Please refer to today’s insert regarding the annual school uniform drive. (The insert was distributed last week but is being included again for anyone who may not have received it.) Note that the deadline to donate is Friday 14th August.
While CCY is on summer break, children are welcome to stay in church during the service, and to choose an item from the activity box on the pew near the Baptismal font.
The church’s outreach programmes could still use some additional volunteers, especially while many of the regular volunteers are away over the summer. The Food Programme provides lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to people in need. On Saturday mornings, the Loads of Love programme provides a laundry service, as well as breakfast. If you might be able to help, even if just occasionally, please contact either David Thompson or the church office at the details below.
Note that Sunday church services are live-streamed on YouTube each week, and the video-recordings are posted online afterwards.
