CHRIST CHURCH WARWICK – FRIDAY BULLETIN
13 JUNE 2025
IMPORTANT ITEM – THE CALL TO THE VERY REV DR. MARTIN FAIR
Following last weekend’s resounding vote in favour of appointing the Very Reverend Dr. Martin Fair as the new minister of Christ Church Warwick, the Call is now available to be signed by members and those adherents on the Electoral Register. The Call is at the church office, where it will be available during office hours throughout next week. The Call will also be available at church this Sunday and next, 15 and 22 June 2025. If you are unable, for any reason, to sign the Call in person, you may complete a Mandate, which will allow Session Clerk to sign the Call on your behalf. The Mandate, which was attached to the e-mail sent out on Sunday 8 June, is again attached here, for the convenience of anyone unable to sign the Call. The Kirk Session is keen that as many members and voting adherents as possible add their names, to indicate their support for Rev Fair. The wording of the Call is provided below.
The Call reads as follows:
We, members and adherents of the Church of Scotland and of the congregation known as Christ Church, Warwick, being without a minister, address this Call to be our minister to you, the Very Rev Dr. Martin Fair, of whose gifts and qualities we have been assured, and we warmly invite you to accept this Call, promising that we shall devote ourselves with you to worship, witness, mission and service in this parish, and also to the furtherance of these in the world, to the glory of God and for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
