Go Now in Peace
Go now in peace, never be afraid,
God will go with you each hour of every day.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know he will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love and show you believe.
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there, watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith and in love.
(See back cover of hymnal for music.)
Notices
The flowers in the church today are in loving memory of the Smith sisters, Frances Hallamore and Freida Chappell, whose birthdays are today, 12th July, and Tuesday, 14th July, respectively.
While CCY is on summer break, children are welcome to stay in church, and to choose an item from the activity box at the West door.
The church’s outreach programmes require more volunteers. The programmes provide lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and breakfast on Saturdays, to people in need. Volunteers are required in the kitchen for just an hour at a time during the week, and for less than two hours on Saturdays. Drivers are also needed during the week, to deliver lunches to those unable to collect them. The delivery routes can be done in under an hour. As well, the weekly laundry programme on Saturday mornings still needs additional volunteers, particularly men. If you might be able to help, even if just occasionally, please contact either David Thompson or the church office at the details below.
Note that Sunday church services are live-streamed on YouTube each week, and the video-recordings are posted online afterwards.
